
Lori Howard
Director and Lead Teacher
Lori has been working with children for more than 40 years. She began her career with children when she was 13 by operating her own dance studio during the school year and working as a camp counselor during the summers. Before moving to the Boston area she received her B.S. degree in Education with a minor Special Education from the College of St. Rose. She taught in the New York school system and worked as an Art Therapist in the Albany area. After receiving her Master’s Degree in Education from Lesley College, she worked as a Lead Pre-School teacher at Kendall Nursery School in Belmont and BB & N School Summer Program in Cambridge. She came to PNS in the fall of 1981 as a Lead Teacher and assumed the role of Director/Teacher in 1985. Lori is the author of “What To Do With a Squirt of Glue”, an art activity book for young children. Lori enjoys gardening, doing crafts, going to the beach and hanging out with her family, husband Jack and daughter Emma.

Linda Tilden
Director of Admissions/Treasurer
Linda has worked with children for over 30 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College in Elementary Education with a Reading Concentration. She was a camp counselor and taught Beginners (3 and 4 year olds) and First Grade at The Chestnut Hill School in Chestnut Hill, MA. She also worked in Admissions at that school, as well as at Nashoba Brooks Day School in Concord, MA. For over 25 years Linda has been the Director of Admissions/Treasurer at PNS and helps out in the classroom when needed. She has worked in real estate, retail, and property management and has even taught figure skating! Linda enjoys travel, playing tennis but watching all sports, and the beach, as well as cooking for her husband and two daughters.

Krystal Cofield
Classroom Aide
Krystal has always loved working with children, from working in a daycare in high school to teaching Kindergarten in Gardner, MA for 5 years. Her two youngest children attended PNS and they both loved it and learned so much while they were there. Krystal substituted for the teachers during this time. In her free time Krystal enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, reading, cooking and watching her children play sports.

Irene Diamond
Classroom Aide
Irene is a happily retired teacher with two adult children and five grandchildren. She has taught children for many years, including starting a 4+ class here at Plymouth Nursery School in 1986. It is her pleasure to be able to be here again since she loves working with toddlers and preschoolers. Their excitement for learning, making new friends, and exploring has alawys been a great attraction to her. You can find her singing songs, reading books and doing projects with the students.

Gail Marino
Classroom Aide
Gail has been working with children for over 20 years. She was a teacher at Magic Garden Preschool, then became a special education tutor for the Lincoln Public Preschool and retired from that program in 2024. She is EEC certified as a Lead Teacher and has a B.S. in Graphic Design from Northeastern. Gail worked as an aide at PNS last year and is happily returning! In her spare time Gail enjoys being physically active.
